Karen Flanders

A Joyful Noise Music Studio is operated by music instructor Karen Flanders.  Mrs. Flanders has been a music instructor since 2002 and has been teaching music in Locust Grove in Orange County, Virginia since 2006 with students from Spotsylvania and Culpeper as well.  She earned her Bachelors degree in Music Education in 2002 and holds membership in the local Rappahannock Music Society, the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs, National Federation of Music Clubs and the International American College of Musicians  Mrs. Flanders is currently teaching private music lessons for piano, voice and flute from her home studio in Locust Grove, Virginia.

The students of A Joyful Noise music studio have the opportunity to participate in several festivals and competitions throughout the year. Some opportunities include the Sonata/Sonatina Festival, Jazz Rags and Blues Festival, National Federation of Music Clubs Festival, Bland Contest, Rappahannock Music Society Scholarship Competition and A Joyful Noise Studio Spring Recital.
